They've got it right this time!
I have followed Mocedades since my College years (ca. 1972) when Eres Tu appeared and when I lived in Europe. It does'nt matter because they've been heard all over the world I've been. Their lyricism, musical and vocal gifts are truly a gem with this collection. After hearing it, it appears that better generation stereo masters where available. The Pange lingua outtake is probably a taped rehearsal, making it interesting but not the full studio version. I love Mocedades (the original:with Sergio & Estibaliz) and besides bringing back good memories, their music will never Die!! I also thank Juan Carlos Calderon for his mastery and genius while producing them. He was as part of the group, as George Martin was essential to the Beatles. It is a pity that many gems in Spanish are not remastered or 20/24 Bit brought back to life. This is, however, a definitive article and I strongly recommend it.

Super!!! this is the romantic melodies of the 70-80's
To relate to it, these are the mamas and the papas of spanish music, their lirics are like dylan's in spanish, and their sound and clarity right below the beatles, with all the wonderful fleetwood macs, elton john, james taylor, peter - paul and mary, the seakers (austarlian), etc. If you like them remember me in your prayers, if you don't, heck that is why there is chocolate and vanilla :-)
