Ambient techno (as well as ambient house) combine the electronic beats and rhythms of techno with rhythmless, atmospheric synth pads or vocals. Many ambient artists consider themselves to be more "serious" than those in other techno-inspired styles, and utilize more expirmental sounds and forms in their tracks.
